Rules of the Road
- Volunteers will make every effort to steer runners along the course(s) however, runners are responsible for knowing the course. Volunteers will not be held responsible for time lost for mis-direction.
- Be sure to follow direction at the Point-Stadium finish line location. This has been confusing to some in the past.
- Runners may leave items with registration table for pick-up at the finish line. However, the staff will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items. All items left 1-week after event will be discarded.
- Other than adaptive vehicles, no other mode of transportation is permitted. No unicycles, bicycles, baby strollers, skates/roller blades, pets or non-registered runners or individuals permitted on Marathon, 10K or Half Marathon Courses.
- Wearing of headsets is not recommended.
- Cheating of any sort will result in disqualification (i.e. exchanging of runner numbers and re-entering the course, etc.)
- The Race Directors decision on all matters is FINAL!
- All numbers must be displayed in front of participant shirt.
- The course officially closes six hours after the start of the race. No times will be recorded thereafter.
- Sections of the course will close as the race progresses. Therefore, runners should expect to maintain a 12-minute-per-mile pace. We cannot guarantee the availability of water or aid stations for runners who run more slowly than the suggested pace.
- The race director(s) reserve the right to reject any entry and to disqualify any participant for unruly conduct or failing to follow the designated course. It is the runner’s responsibility to know the course.
Packet Pick-Up
For Pre-registered runners, race numbers and runners’ packets may be picked up on Saturday, October 1, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pre-Race Dinner.
Runners may also pick up packets and numbers on race-day at the respective starting lines, up to one-half hour before the start time.
T-Shirts
Pre-registered runners are guaranteed a race-T-shirt. Runners who register on race day are not guaranteed a T-shirt and will receive one as supplies last.
Aid Stations
Aid Stations and water are located at the beginning of race and every 2 miles from Mile 2 to Mile 20, then every mile after to the finish area. 10K Race Aid Stations and water is provided at the two and four mile points. Massages are available for all runners at Point Stadium.
Pre-Race Spaghetti Dinner
All-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad, roll and beverage will be held Saturday, October 1, 4:00-7:00 pm. Location will be determined. Check on our website. FREE to participants. 5k/Guests/Public $5.00 person.
