Masters Swim Team
Ages 18 and Over
The Johnstown YMCA Masters Swim Team is open to anyone over the age
of 18 and not currently competing at the collegiate level. Our Team will join the Allegheny Mountain YMCA/YWCA Masters Swimming Association (AMYMSA). There will be 12 swim meets with either one or two a month from September through March. Meets can be attended at your own preference. An entry fee of $7.00 is required for each meet that you attend, payable the day of the meet. By attending at least 3 meets throughout the season you will be eligible to attend the league Championship meet at Clarion University in March. The YMCA Masters National Championships are held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in April. The YMCA will hold one scheduled team practice weekly on Sunday from 5:00-6:00 pm whenever possible and additional workouts will be posted for you to do on your own.
