American Red Cross Deep Water Lifeguard Class (limited to 12 Participants):

• April 10, 2026: 5 PM – 8 PM Prerequisite Swim Test, Online Class Information, Basic Rescues
• April 18, 2026: 9 AM – 6 PM
• April 19, 2026: 9 AM – 3 PM
• April 25, 2026: 9 AM – 1 PM

****All Classes will be at the Greater Johnstown YMCA *****

Cost: $200 for Members, $300 for Non-members.  NO REFUNDS will be provided for failure to complete the class.

American Red Cross Deep Water Recertification Lifeguard Class (limited to 6 participants)

• April 10, 2026: 5 PM – 8 PM Prerequisite Swim Test, Online Class Information, Basic Rescues
• April 25, 2026: 9 AM – 3 PM

Re-certification Cost: $150 for Members, $200 for non-members. NO REFUNDS will be provided for failure to complete the class.

Requirements:

• Must be 15 years of age
• Must be a good swimmer
• Complete Online Classes (No Exceptions)
• Attend ALL Classes (No Exceptions)

***You must PASS the Prerequisite Skill and complete the online class by Whole class by April 18, and the Recertification class by April 25 to become certified.***
