In addition to Personal Training, we offer Sports-Specific Coaching for a wide variety of sports including Basketball, Swimming, and Track & Field. All Personal Training and Sports Coaching sessions are one-hour-long with the exception of swim instruction, which are 40 minutes in length.

Sports Specific MASS w/ Coach Zing
Mobility, Agility, Stability, Strength = MASS
Catering primarily to youth athletes, this program welcomes anyone ages 15 and up. The object is to encourage and develop MASS, and to bear in mind that all physical endeavor is uncannily, almost mysteriously connected to the central nervous system with the brain at its helm.
This summer program will meet twice a week, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30AM to 10:30AM, starting June 5. The program is broken into two sessions: Session I, June 5 through July 1; and Session II, July 9 through August 19. The week of July 2 through July 8 has been left open for make-ups, if necessary. Fees ($55/$85 for Session I; $95/$135 for Session II) may be paid at the beginning of each session, or at a discounted single payment of $135 for members, or $195 for non-members.

Weightlifting Competition
Weightlifting Competition
June 10th: 4:00pm – 8:00pm & June 11th: 11:00am – 3:00pm
The YMCA Greater Johnstown is hosting a weightlifting competition featuring these lifts
Deadlift, Bench Press, and Squat.
- Divisions:
Men’s Lightweight (115-180 pounds) - Men’s Heavyweight (181-300+ pounds)
- Women’s Lightweight (80-135 pounds)
- Women’s Heavyweight (136-225+ pounds)
The competition will take place on June10th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and June 11th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Members: $25.00/Non-Members: $50.00 upon entry of each event.
Cash prizes will be awarded to overall winners of each division. Sign up for an available time slot below.
