We’ve missed you at the Greater Johnstown Community YMCA! These past months have been so challenging for all of us, and we thank you for doing your part to help stop the spread of coronavirus – especially for the benefit of our most vulnerable neighbors.
We are thrilled to announce we are extending our reopening on Monday June 22nd to include the indoor track, the free weight room and racquettball. We’re following guidelines from health experts and local officials to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards for hygiene and safety, and we have modified our policies and programs to facilitate safe social distancing practices. In phase II we are adding some additional hours.
We’re now open from 7:00 am – 11:00 am, 11:30 am – 2:30 pm, 3:00 – 7:00 pm
We’re closed for 30 minutes, 2 x per day to sanitize the building.
As a nonprofit dedicated to keeping our community healthy, safe and thriving for all. We’ve been connecting with others around the commnity and around the state, learning from everyone’s experiences through this.
We invite you to join us when we reopen our facilities. We’re here to help you focus on what matters most: your health, your family and friends, and your community. There will be some changes you notice when you walk through our doors. You can find those changes outlined in detail by clicking on the FACILITY REOPENING PLAN, PHASE ONE CHANGES, AND SCHEDULE MY WORKOUT BUTTONS to the right.
Welcome back to the Y, and thank you for staying with us!
